Dedication Pictures

The lighting in the church was bad.... and we never posed for an official picture, but here are a few snapshots of the big day!

I really love the ones of Chris with Haven :) They make me HAPPY!

Bah Humbug!

Oh my sweet little Haven couldn't be persuaded (not even with cheese) to smile for me in his little snowman outfit. He didn't cry either.... He just looked at me like "Why again?... Didn't we just do this for Halloween?"-

Chris and I had some good laughs. The outfit is a zip up bag. I was trying to prop him up on a present but he had no stability and kept tipping to the side like Humpty Dumpty. We finally got one good shot at the end for our Christmas card (so be expecting one in the mail).

We shared a skinny cow fudge bar afterwards. He was happy again :)

We're taking him to the mall this weekend to get his picture taken with Santa. He has the cutest little plaid shirt and vest to wear... So I will post those pictures soon, too.

Our Christmas plans are still up in the air this year. My step dad's daughter, DeDe, always has a get together the Saturday before Christmas at her house in Pekin. I haven't missed one in 12 years, so I know that we are going to make the voyage to Pekin for that one. The plan is to drive through the Festival of Lights and head home after Haven has went to sleep for the night. However, driving up for Christmas Eve (with a teething baby) a few days later seems exhausting. It would have to be a one day trip; we wouldn't stay the night because I want him to open presents from Santa at our house on Christmas morning. On top of that, we still have to drive to Charleston, then to Effingham, and back to St Louis on Christmas Day.

Maybe I am so crabby because I just did this on Thanksgiving.... Hopefully by Christmas, I'll forget how bad the driving was...

On another note, I really hope it snows this week.... :)
