Super Mario Party

It was Ben's birthday (our Best Man and Chris' bff) two weeks ago.

We threw him a surprise party by dressing up as our favorite Mario characters and having him believe we were all meeting for dinner. It was a good surprise and a really fun party. (I dressed as up as Dr. Mario-- my all time favorite game)

I even made a Mario cupcake-cake. I found a similar version as a grooms wedding cake. I'll post the link as soon as I can find it again. All together, I think it's close to 150 mini cupcakes... and lots of Wilton frosting gel coloring.

My Easter Post (Only a Week Late)

I'm going to start blogging everyday again... Really.

Also, I need to update my banner. That will be my goal for tomorrow.

In the meantime, let me update you about our Easter. Haven is only one so he doesn't know what's really going on yet. We visited my in-laws, dyed eggs, went to church, and had an egg hunt. I can't wait until he really gets into it, but for now I'm happy that he is my little marshmallow =)

We are soaking up every moment of this perfect weather.

Tomorrow we are going to visit another day care... and then maybe go to the zoo, plant some flowers, and nap outside?! Yes. That sounds very nice.
