I'm linking up with Jamie for WILW.
My little Bubba Gump joined the "Two Bite Club" at school. I asked him what new food he tried and he said, "Not cheese!" He is on a spaghetti kick right now. Our main battle every night is to get him to sit at the table with us and eat his food. And to wear pants when we have company.
Chris' grandma, Betty, passed away in December. She had a ton of glass chicken dishes that I loved. My in-laws packed them up and sent them down to my house. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I hate knick-knacks {how the heck do you spell something that sounds like a tap dance?}, but I love these little bowls.

Girlfriend has some hair! If I do not comb it straight down, it dries with a poof like the top corner picture. I don't like putting big bows in her hair, but I did buy some little barrettes that are so tiny, they look like they were made for Barbie.

Do you ever see people at the zoo that walk their kid on a leash {or excuse me, a glorified monkey backpack with a tail}?
I can't do it.
I WANT to do it... because it would be easier and less stressful, but I can't go there.
I've been panicking about what we are going to do at Disney since I know Haven will want to walk a lot of the parks. Then I was browsing ETSY one day and found these. They are just little padded bracelets that the parent and child both wear, with 36 inches between them so that they don't get separated. I ordered two in a Toy Story fabric for Haven and my nephew.
Parenthood season finale last night?! No one tell me how awesome it was, because I'm an old hag and went to sleep at 8pm.
Oh... and all of the premium edits on PICNIK are fee right now. They are going to Google+ in April, so use them up. :)
Happy Wednesday! Tootles.

Rent the open stroller thing at Disney, it is worth every penny. My kids were 6 and 8 when we went and they rode in it the whole time. I did put an ID tag on my kids with our names and phone numbers because I was worried about that. And take your walking shoes. You will cover some ground. I think I came home from Disney more exhausted than I have ever been. But it is the happiest place on earth, for sure.
ReplyDeleteI am behind on my 'Parenthoods'...I think I have 3 to watch. Can't believe it is already over for the season though!
Happy Wednesday friend!
LOVE the chicken bowls! You could do so much with them. :)
ReplyDeleteCrewe's hair was just like that! Makes me miss him being that small!
ReplyDeleteCan I stow (sp?) away in your luggage an come with y'all??? We will mot be vacationing for awhile after the down payment on our house
Your little girl looks like she might idolize Donald Trump--or at least his hair! :) Happy Wednesday

Olive is such a cutie! I just love all that blonde hair. The barrette looks so cute. The toy story wrist bracelet things are so cute and such a great idea for Disney World! Hope you're having a great Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the school will be able to tell you what new food he ate! I just love little Olive's hair! And, I'm with you on the leashes, I don't ever want to put my kid on a leash, but i know it would make life so much easier. Cooper will barely stay in a stroller right now, so those arm things look great! Good purchase! :) Happy Leap Day!
ReplyDeleteWe had a stroller while we were at Disney and while out of the stroller the kids did wonderful with staying very nearby where we were. I was basically in charge of the kids the whole time and Kevin kept an eye on where we were and the maps.
ReplyDeletePlus, don't worry too much about Haven getting lost because when the kids get lost at Disney the park staff are trained to recognize it right away and they get on their walkie talkies and very soon he is taken to a place where he is given a sucker or stickers or some type of treat and all kinds of good things. (So he's not so scared).
I would put a sticker on the inside of his shirt with every cell number you'll have with you and let him know where that sticker is so if he gets lost he can point to it and they will know where to look
I also saw somewhere that there is a website where you can make a temporary tattoo with your name and phone number. Get one for every day and put on his upper arm or somewhere that he can point to and they will know to look.
Love those chicken dishes! I so love unique/antique-y decor like that!
ReplyDeleteOh Lord, that girl's hair is just too cute!
Love the chicken bowls but am a bit surprised that you do (ha!)
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE, LOVE the two bite club! That is awesome.
DYING to see Parenthood. Didn't notice until it was almost over last night that the DVR didn't record it. Hopefully I can find it online!
ReplyDeleteHi friend! Love the photos of the little ones (as always). Gave your blog a little love today: http://tinyurl.com/8xzxkf5
