Happy Hollyween!!

Happy Halloween, from the Town Nuts. :)

Girlfriend was not feeling her etsy bow. AT. ALL.

My sister and niece are in town, so we will be picking up pizzas and taking 6,943 pictures of the kids until they go into meltdown-mode.

I stopped by my aunt's house last night {her town did Trick or Treating last night}... and I found out that Haven likes giving candy to Trick or Treater's... a lot. So I might have a little buddy tonight. :)

Also, my girl Kassie is hosting a Blogger Swag Swap. Have you ever participated in one of these before? You get matched up with a blogger stranger/friend and send each other a little package. Kind of like a blogger pen pal, without a 4th grade teacher standing over you to see if you wrote cuss words in your letter {only me??}. If you're interested, hop over and let her know by tomorrow! :)

I actaully met one of my best blogger friends, evaaa, from a swap like this {Hey, Alexis!!}

What are your Halloween plans tonight? Do tell. :)

  5. Happy Halloween! You three look great this morning; love Olive B's bow! I think it's pizza for us tonight too. My mom and I bundle up in the driveway and pass out candy; my dad, husband and son walk the neighborhood. I'm hoping the rain/wind will let up so they're not miserable. I slaved over three dozen cookies last night for Mason's school party today. I wonder if any will come back home....that would be so nice. Have a great night and I look forward to seeing all 6,943 pictures tomorrow!

  6. Oh my goodness! LOVE this! We went to a local fall festival Saturday so I thought Ellie would get it all out of her system then. Oh no she woke up asking for her costume so she's the only kid at the babysitters dressed up. I thought sister it is going to be a long day when you start out in your costume at 7:30 AM!

  8. Of course you have them dressed up in little Halloween outfits, you are too much. Olive's outfit is adorable (love the tights), too bad she didn't care for the bow. I'm impressed that you were able to smile in all of the pictures while wrangling two squirmy kids. It's Supermom!

  11. Oh, Olive! Little grumpers! Your kids are so cute.

I've invited a few of my fellow childless friends over and we're going to have a bonfire on the front patio and pass out candy. We might dress up like witches and cackle maniacally. Maybe. We haven't decided if we want to go that extra mile. I mean, I really love Halloween, but I don't want to freak out the kiddies too much... Also, I haven't had much luck locating my "costume bin" (I really love Halloween). Pete, surprisingly, hasn't been too interested in helping me look for it...

  12. Glad I'm not the only one turning to pizza tonight! Unless someone has a better idea, Papa John's will be working his way to my home along with the rest of the neighborhood. Blog Swaps are so fun! Happy Halloween!

  17. Look how photogenic you are! Olive makes me want to have a girl. But then I remember that I have two obnoxious boys... Im already well on my way to a xanax and wine induced trance throughout the teenage years. She is the cutest patootiest, and Haven the ham. Love. Happy Haloweenie!

  18. BTW you look stunning in your pics and I am not lying - you look great Holly. I love the pics with the kids - they are so cute. Tonight I have re-nicknamed "Candy Induced Choas". I swear we take a ton of pics, shovel candy down our throats, take more pics, scream to just "get up there and tell your joke", then say "get back in the wagon and leave those bushes along - get off their lawn", AGH!!!!!!!! The havoc that will ensue in just a few hours.

Eric and I take the kids around our neighborhood - we leave candy on our porch. We live at the top of the hill and our neighbors are too lazy to walk up it (I would be too) - so SCORE to the suckers that do - free candy... take what you want.. SO we hang with the kids with our flasks tucked in our coats - then we go home, kids eat more candy, Eric and I take all the good stuff and leave the pixy stixs for them, couple more swigs from the flask, put the kids to bed, and then pass out. Oh yeah.. just to get up and go to work the next - blah.. Eric is smart - he took off:)

  19. I have THE BEST IDEA EVER!!! Fly to SoCal, like now, and we can go trick or treating together with wine in sippy cups, for us of course, and then we can let our kids run amuck around my neighborhood while we pretend like we care, but really we will just be getting drunk on my driveway!

    Holy run on sentence.

  21. I love kiddo picture overload! Eliana starts to freak out and cry once my camera phone has been in her face after more than 5 shots! I hope you guys have fun. Tonight my husband and I are going to throw a Halloween party for our church group. GASP! Christians celebrating Halloween! Who wudda thunk it? We are gonna have pizza, desserts, and snacks. I've already planned ahead of time so that I can indulge without going overboard.

  24. Happy Halloweeeeeen!!! You all look adorable, and poor Olive not liking her bow that is like the saddest face I have ever seen! The plan for us tonight is staying in, watching scary movies and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters while making our way through the Blue Moon Autumn Sampler 12 pack :)

  26. Happy Halloween!

You and your kiddos are adorable! Even when some are not so happy! :)

As for our plans, were headed out to the neighborhood my aunt and uncle live at and visit them and hit a few houses there. This is my kids first real Halloween experience of Trick-or-Treating at someones home they don't know. I am probably way more excited than they are!

  27. Your kids are so cute!! Happy Halloween! I'm celebrating w/ my fiance by drinking a beer....or 10 and rejoicing that we don't get any trick or treaters on our street! Candy is EXPENSIVE! :0 Happy Halloween!!
