And since it's Monday, it is the
I am still doing Ripped in 30 this month. My verdict so far? I like The Shred better... and I hated The Shred. But my friend Alexis sent me this Ruffles of Love shirt FOR NO REASON. I love her. I joked on instagram that now I have this shirt, I am just good teeth, big boobs, and twelve 12 inch thighs away from looking like Mama Laughin.
Ignore the back bacon in the picture.
---
The pumpkin patch field trip went great! He did take off his pants and jump into a wooden box of shelled corn... But he wasn't the kid that peed in the box of shelled corn. Praise the lawd!
---
And the football game was fun... minus the lack of beer in the stadium and the torrential downpour that caused the game to be delayed. Someone left me a comment on my last post about how I should drink before going into the game because they don't sell beer at UF games. I responded to her in email letting her know that basically 12 year olds can drink in Missouri, so I should be OK.
So we tailgate a little bit and then my diabetic brother needed some food, so we headed into the stadium. It was about an hour before game time, so we thought we'd eat and walk around. I go up to the Grill and order a sloppy jane and a beer.... And no beer is served in the stadium. All apart of the NCAA rules.
We stayed until the 2nd quarter when the pouring rain wouldn't let up and caused the game to be delayed. Alabama won anyway, so my little Butkus was a happy brother.
{And the Cardinals won twice this weekend.... Ohhh Mmmm Geee!!}

My friend, Melanie, is hosting a tattoo linkup tomorrow over HERE.I have one infamous tattoo that most of you already know about, but I will be linking up with Mel anyway. If you have some tattoos, please jot up a post a share. :)

And I apologize, instagramers... You've already seen these pictures. Like my husband said, anytime something happens, all media outlets must be notified!

Aw, the pumpkin picture is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThe Shred and I have a love hate thing.
ReplyDeleteYay for your boy not being the one who peed!
ReplyDeleteUgh! The Shred, not something I like AT.ALL.
I totally thought of you while it was raining all day Saturday here (my house)I wondered if you were getting rained on. At least your team won! :)
Have a fabulous Monday!
Was thinking about you while I was shredding on Saturday. I didn't phone it in. I wish Joel Osteen was single - I have a little crush! ahaha.
ReplyDeleteI want to cry just thinking about the shred lol. Looks like you had a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI thought about you during the AL game/monsoon. I'm glad you ended up having a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour halloween decorated Holly pic on your blog scared me girl! Boo!
ReplyDeleteAll SEC stadiums do not sell beer. Lame. Glad you had a good weekend. And, I too ate like a garbage truck so I am enjoying a bottled water and apple slices at the moment. Yum. Not.
Jealous of your new Ruffles with Love shirt, they are on my Christmas list, though! I love the picture of you and Chris, it is so cute. And go Haven for not peeing in the corn, woohoo!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday! Love your new "Holly-ween" about me thingy!
ReplyDeleteI drank wine this weekend like Napa Valley announced a shortage...so dont feel bad! Glad the field trip was successful! Boo for no beer in the stadium. Baylor doesnt sell beer in their stadium because Baylor kids dont drink *eyeroll*
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLooks like another super fun weekend! Our school is the only school in the NCAA that can serve beer- we're winners. A loop hole since our stadium is technically owned by the City not the University and Cajuns don't go to games if they can't get booze. Random fun fact.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your first Ruffles shirt! What a sweet gal!! Oh and I love those sunglasses!
I could of been at the MU game. But the boring hubby said no (LOL!!). I would of been cheering for the losing team! But yay for being a CARDS fan. Also our high schools' softball team is headed to state this weekend! WHOO HOO! Been 30 years.
ReplyDeleteI have tried to figured out how to change so I can be replied back by email but am too stupid to figure it out! Maybe someday I will get it. Thanks for the info though!
Sounds like a great weekend! I didn't watch one down of the MU game, and so glad I didn't. I was too busy having heart failure during the Notre Dame game. Between that game and the Cardinals game on Friday night, I am pretty sure that my blood pressure was off the charts!
ReplyDeleteToday is the day that my fat ass might hit the treadmill and start the couch to 5k, but I am not making any promises.
Have a great week!
Ugh. I just can't do football sober, so I feel your pain, Hollz. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm with you on the not-dreading-the-week thing. Why do people get so weird about Mondays? We were hanging out with my brother-in-law last night and he announced that he was already in "work mode" (at 7pm) and didn't want to go out to dinner because he couldn't enjoy the night any more. He needed to get home and psych himself up for Monday morning. The hell? So we told him to quit being a drama queen and made him come out with us anyway. The way I look at it, you only get two days off--why wreck your Sunday night??
Aren't gifts for no reason the best ones! And what is back bacon?
ReplyDeleteFun weekend!!! (And b/c I know you are dying to know, the Hawkeyes won their game in double overtime!! Woot woot!! Go HAWKS!!!) :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a fun weekend!! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the shirt! Sounds like you had a good weekend! BTW-your hair was "amazeballs" haha. But really, it looked awesome.
ReplyDeleteHolly...I seriously laughed like 800 times in this post. Ate like a garbage truck...Back bacon...too many to name. You seriously crack me up girl. Looks like you guys had a fabulous weekend!!! I am also glad I didn't waste money on Ripped in 30. I thought about it after this half marathon, but I may try something else now. Hmm...what to do. Also, you should totally link up one of these fitness fridays girl!!
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up "back bacon" - too much:) I know I keep thinking about the shred - then I but the DVD back and breathe again. I need to start it one day though. OH and thanks for the plug lady - can't wait to see your tat. LOL
ReplyDeleteI have got to get some of those ruffles with love tanks they are SO CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteI am with you girl, I dont mind working out but I HATE limiting the food/beer that I take in... If its yummy I want to eat until I can't anymore!!! Anyone have any ideas on how to change this?!?!?
Xo!!
Yea, but who gets tired of looking at awesome Bama pics? No one! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine sitting through that entire game, it was hard to watch.
This is why you sneak a flask of vodka into the stadium order a large diet coke drink 1/3 of it and pour the vodka in (memories of college days!)
ReplyDeleteAnywho yes Monday is a great day to start eating right again...well any day is but Monday just sounds the best.
Here's to back on track! :)
Hahahaha, Annie! My husband and I did this with Sea World several years ago. Before kids, I promise!
DeleteSure was fun!
Do you still care about my comments now that you get 407? My finger is tired from scrolling down to the bottom to get a turn. Whew. Funny that you had a Joel Osteen phase. He gives me the creeps, so my hubby will turn him on just to hear me holler. Roll Tide.
ReplyDeleteWeekends are soooo hard to stay on the right track. How in the hell are you supposed to want to do the 30 day shred on a saturday and sunday. Really, Jillian?
ReplyDeleteOh, I <3 Joel Olsteen and your shirt rocks. Maybe I should get myself one. You said they run small? Is it too small???
