The fab Laura is hosting a Friday linkup. Since I am full of random clutter of thee brain, I wanted to join in on the fun!
1. I signed up for a half marathon this week. Which had everyone in my family concerned yesterday. Chris commented, "You paid $70 to run outside?" Hmemm.
2. My love, Amy, is coming over tonight to take pictures of the bonzos. My niece, Eliana, is in town so we are having a photo shoot. Which we all know kids hate having their pictures taken-- at least mine do. They act like I am sticking their hands in fire and killing Buzz Lightyear. So I hope Amy is ready for my obnoxious song and dance that I do to get them both look at me and smile.

The hair is richetous... I can't wait to see the pics - Amy is an AWESOME photographer. Tell them all to shhhhhh.... you are going to kill it and I get the whole 70 bucks thing - but you get all this fun swag and a GREAT confidence booster - huzzah!

ReplyDeleteThis weekend - I want to curl up in my house and try to find some time to sleep.
I can't wait to hear how the marathon goes - you ROCK. I signed up for one 2 years ago and was all trained and ready (I was going to fly to Alaska and run it with my best friend) but 2 weeks before the race she had to have surgery to get her gallbladder taken out and we didn't end up running it. (Don't tell her, but I'm secretly glad.... I'm such a wuss!)

Signed up for a half marathon? WOW that is amazing.. I have done a couple 5K's and thought I was going to die so a marathon; or even a half is out of the question. I think your amazing for doing it. Keep us posted as to how your training is going. You can do this!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Olives JT hair! We are doing family photos next weekend. Lily is THE hardest child to make cooperate. By the end of the shoot I predict myself yelling "JUST FUCKING SMILE AND ILL GIVE YOU CHOCOLATE!" which will probably have her in tears. At least I dont have high expectations so I wont be disappointed.
