Holiday Hangover

What do you do when you have a hangover from the holidays? Keep drinkin'!

Which is why, today, I am packing up Vivian and driving three hours to see the love of my life, Darci {pronounced: Darr-sayyyy}.

We had these grand plans of spending the afternoon at a spa, but then about 8pm last night, we settled on margaritas at 11am. To say that I can't wait to see her is an understatement. She has all of the sass and crass of a New Jersey Housewife. We hung out in Tulsa and we've been making plans to reunite since. If you don't know her, please check out her blog HERE.

The kids are taking a "vacation week" from daycare this week. Which is just a fancy way of saying that I am using up my one free week a year and keeping them home. Chris has the fortune or punishment of being a SAHD today... and I am completely OK with coming home to toy parts scattered across the house and the kids covered in cereal.
