I am towards the end of my campaign with Green Giant; kicking my diet cheats to the curb and getting my rear in gear for the holidays. I posted yesterday how today is my first day on the 10 Day Cleanse and I think I am going to have more success this time than in years past just because I've been retraining my taste-buds for the past month. The cleanse promotes eating a ton of green veggies because they are loaded with fiber and vitamins.
Dr. V read about my diet cheats last week (and saw my grocery cart!) and left me some funny advice.
The best part of this campaign is the years worth of Green Giant veggies. The steamers are already a part of my weekly grocery list, so this will leave me more beer/gossip magazine money. I mentioned a few weeks ago, how we were getting take out at least three nights a week. After I found the recipe page HERE, I made Chris sit down and pick out some meals that sound good. I have made the Double-Cheese Chicken and Vegetables, Broccoli, Rice and Chili Beans, and the Chicken Divan.
cleanse food, baby!!
If you are someone who is in a cooking funk and wants to make something healthy for your family that they will actually eat, then look at Green Giant's recipe section. I love that they break it down by recipes with 5 ingredients or less, recipes less than 30 minutes, and more. The best part is that it gives you all of the nutritional information and serving size of the whole recipe.
That makes the calorie freak inside me really happy because then I can just enter it into the Lose It App.
If you try one of the Green Giant recipes, be sure to pin it to pinterest and tag me. I'd love to know what was good so I can add it to the rotation Dinner La Stanfield.
What is your favorite healthy dinner?
