I'm all over the place this morning. In about an hour, I am heading to the Toyota dealership and only getting an oil change. I don't care if they tell me that Satan himself will come crawling out of my muffler at 75,000 miles, I am only getting an oil change.
Hop on over to Darci's page HERE and link up this morning.
My friend, Jen Morris, is a Jamberry consultant. I tried my first nail wraps this week. They kind of remind me of the old school stick on nails in that they are easy to apply. But the shine and color makes it look like a shellac. I'm hosting a giveaway for a free set of wraps in winner's choice of color on my facebook page right now. You can enter HERE... and be sure to check out Jen's consultant page HERE. The winner will be announced today before lunch time.
This cleanse has me 12 shades of cray-cray. I want Cracker Barrel so damn bad... hashbrown casserole, get in my mouth.
We are going back to Chris's alma mater this weekend for college homecoming with my in-laws. The Stanfield's, and I mean all of the Stanfield's except me, love going to parades. I can't think of very many things worse than standing outside in the cold, listening to an awful school band, and waiting for people to throw Tootsie Rolls at me.
The genius and sexy Jenn Miller started a podcast called Insert Pop Culture Reference Here. She let her husband, Chris, and I all join in on the fun. I missed the recording for this past one, but we are recording our Halloween special this weekend. You can check out our previous podcasts HERE. TimBob is giving away a gift card raffle on his page HERE just for checking out the podcast. If you have any podcast ideas we can cover, leave your thoughts below.
I need a theme for Olive's birthday next month. We are celebrating it a week early on November 30th because of my marathon the following week. And girlfriend is going to be stuck with a Christmas-themed party for the rest of her life. I am thinking Gingerbread Girl party.... round two. But she also loves the Jimmy Buffet song, "Hey Good Lookin', Whatcha Got Cookin'?" So I was thinking a cheeseburgers & paradise theme. Or she likes Crocs. I am one pinterest board away from throwing myself off the Mom-Party Bridge.
By the way, my friend Nicole is raising money for a family of a friend who died. She is hosting a Lia Sophia party and is donating all of her proceeds to the Lieutenant Patrick Richardson memorial fund. You can read the back story HERE. The officer's widow has a lot of expenses and a son in high school. If you want to do some shopping, click the link HERE, then select Browse Jewelry, and enter Nicole Burdess as the hostess.
What are you doing this weekend? Any fun plans?
