I don't know what ya'll do for snowed-in activities with your toddlers, but I am bored and so are they. There is no point in cleaning anything and we all have the attention span the size of an ant, so we're cranky and lacking vitamin D.
In the meantime, in lieu of a post about how I have eaten us out of the house, you get a $50 giveaway to Kiki La'Rue! KLR was my biggest donor for my St Jude marathon fundraiser (did you see my exciting news on facebook?). I sent an email to about 80 people with my donation link. Becka was one of the first people to contribute and generously gave $1000!
When she asked to do a giveaway on the blog, with proceeds benefiting The Shine Project, I told her I would match it for an instagram giveaway too. Both giveaways are promoting their Shop for a Cause event this weekend in Southlake, Texas!
TWO GIVEAWAYS... Each $50!
Since you all know I am as fashionable as a squirrel, it took two Lumiday's and a Strawberita to do a full length selfie. I even "spray tanned" my legs in PicMonkey but they are still as white as rice. I don't know why I feel this way sometimes, but I definitely felt good after I saw the pictures. All of the clothes I've had from KLR make me feel good and are flattering.
First up, the First-Class dress in orange and teal. I paired it with a black blazer from TJ Maxx and Jessica Simpson pumps from Macy's. I have shorter legs and the dress hit about an inch or two above my knee. I love that the dress has long sleeves because I'm not a fan of my arms, especially in the winter. It has an empire waist and ties in the back so it's really flattering, even if your stomach sticks out farther than your boobs (ma-wah!). I love this dress and Chris loves it more. The colors are great and it can be worn through spring and even summer, without the blazer.
And of course, the La'Rue Essential Top. I wear this shirt once, sometimes twice a week. Becka left me this shirt when she was in St. Louis over Thanksgiving. I love it because I can wear it to work with dress pants and a statement necklace or with skinny jeans and the Bailey Infinity Scarf in the knight color. These shirts are tighter on the arms and have a loose fitting on the sides. Perfect with jeggings or for a Chinese food buffet. I paired my La'Rue essential with skinny jeans from Limited and Nine West pumps. I love the color of the Bailey Infinity Scarf (Knight) because you can wear it with black, gray, or brown.
Do you want some new clothes to get through the January blues? It's so easy to win! There will be one $50 winner from my blog and one from instagram.
